Mindful Moment


Here's your mindfulness for the week :
Take one minute before you eat to just sit quietly. Close your eyes, take a deep breath and sit. Maybe you will say a prayer, make a wish for yourself, or your loved ones or just let your mind be still. No matter what you do, give yourself a minute to switch from making food to sitting down and eating it. You'll find your stresses from the day will ease some and you'll become more present in the moment with your family and friends. This is also a great exercise for kids, it might be hard for them at first (the little ones always peek and giggle), but soon they'll enjoy the quiet transition from the day just much as you.
